"The Ivory bill Man" Graphite on paper This was a quick drawing did in about 3 1/2 hours, its a small drawing 7" x 5". This Drawing was adapted from a photo of Billy Louis Fought taken by is son Glynn Fought .Billy is now almost 82 and is one of the last people on earth documented to have seen an Ivorybill Wood Pecker. This happened in the Swamps of North Louisana in the spring of 1944 when Billy was 13 years old. . That's the reason the photo is called "The Ivory bill Man."
I didn't come up with the title it is a friends father, he was one of the first people to rediscover The Ivory-billed Woodpecker which was thought to be extinct .So his son called him "The ivory bill man"
